BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Rishi Raj Singh is a consultant radiologist at Mediheal Group of Hospitals, Parklands. He holds a M.B.B.S. (Gold Medalist) from Rural Medical College, Loni Ahmednagar (PIMS). He also completed an internship at Rural Medical College, Loni, PIMS, in 2015.

Dr. Singh worked as a general physician in the same capacity both at Getwel Hospital in Patna, Bihar. Also, from February to May 2017, he worked as a junior resident at the department of paediatric surgery at Kalavati Saran Hospital, New Delhi, India.

He has completed his DNB in Radiology from Sagar Hospital, Bengaluru, India, and a certificate in Foetal Radiology. With over 6 years of rich working experience, Dr. Singh has furnished himself with skills in interpreting whole body MRI, brain MRI/MRA, prostrate MRI, urograpies, CT coronary angiogram with calcium scoring, cross sectional peripheral and brain angiograms. He also has the ability to do basic radiological procedures like PTBD’s, FNA’s , painless biopsies etc..

He worked as a radiology resident in the department of radiology at Sagar Hospital Bengaluru from 2017 to 2020. Prior to joining Mediheal Hospital, Dr. Singh practised as a consultant radiologist at Park Group of Hospitals, India. He also worked in the same capacity at Bhagwandas Hospital in Sonipat, India. He performed the duties of a senior resident in Fortis group of Hospital, shalimar bagh, New Delhi , followed by working as a junior consultant at the North Delhi Advanced MRI Centre .

Dr. Singh has done a case study on testicular adrenal rest tumors and congenital tuberculosis. He has done a research study on MDCT's role in acute pancreatitis: diagnosis and assessment using the revised Atlanta classification.

AREAS OF INTEREST

        Interpret whole body MRI, brain MRI/MRA, prostrate MRI.  

        Interpret routine MRI CT scans, all CT chest, CT urography, CT coronary angiogram with calcium scorings, peripheral and   brain angiograms.  

        Interpretation of x-rays, barium studies.  

        Perform and interpret retrograde urography, micturating urography, sialography, stomograms and fistulograms.  

        Ability to do ANC scans, abdominal and pelvic scans, duplex scans for carotid and peripheral arteries, neurosonogram in   children, fast scans, duplex scan of scrotum.  

        Assist with training of intern and residents along with hod.  

        Assist in training of paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of highest quality care and exceptional client service.  

        Ability to do minor radiological procedures.  

        Interpretation of emergency imaging.  

        Assisted in all types of biopsies.  

        Positive representation of hospitals in general public.
